We have two ongoing internship opportunities available at Studiothink. We’re currently looking for dynamic, passionate marketing interns in the digital and interactive disciplines. Read below for more information on these roles and how to apply.

Digital Marketing Intern

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing content messaging and marketing department. Under the direction of the Content Messaging and Marketing Manager, in this position, you will be a part of a variety of new and ongoing client projects. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Research, draft and schedule social media content  

  • Community management and monitoring for digital brand clients 

  • SEO keyword research and strategy assistance 

  • Research, compile and format social media and public relations analytics reports  

  • Research, draft and post blog posts and other web copy  

  • Make minimal updates to existing website pages  

  • Assist with various daily tasks associated to digital brand management as assigned 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 3.0 GPA and above 

  • Prior work experience 

  • Must be currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's degree program in marketing (or related) 

  • If currently enrolled, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2019, December 2019, or Spring 2020 

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong working knowledge of social media best practices content creation and community management 

  • Strong working knowledge of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter) 

  • Strong understanding of SEO keyword strategy 

  • Ability to write compelling social media content  

  • Strong preference for those with prior experience in content management platforms and an understanding of social scheduling and web publishing 

  • Basic understanding of blogging and site CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace and others) 

Requirements: 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to proof and edit work 

  • Ability to work quickly on multiple projects with shifting priorities 

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines 

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills 

  • Self-motivated and team player attitude and takes assignments readily 

  • Motivates self with little prodding; offers unsolicited suggestions and ideas 

  • In addition to software outlined in preferred qualifications, is proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and the Google Drive equivalents  

Internship Structure & Benefits: 

This is a 90-day internship with performance check-ins at 30, 60 and 90 days. While an offer of employment at the end of the internship is an option, it is not a guarantee and will be determined by current company need.   

This is a paid internship with a monthly stipend incrementally increasing throughout the duration of the internship. We also pay for parking in a nearby parking garage or a monthly public transit pass if preferred.

Interactive Intern

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing interactive design department. Under the direction of the Interactive Design Manager, in this position you will be a part of a variety of new and ongoing client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform website audits and develop UX strategies

  • Assist in updating websites including adding pages, editing content, formatting blog and event posts, uploading images

  • Building and executing email marketing campaigns

  • SEO keyword research and strategy assistance

  • Aggregate digital data from various sources such as Google Analytics, user experience tools, email provider, to organize into reports for various account teams and departments

Basic Qualifications:

●      3.0 GPA and above

●      Prior work experience

●      Must be currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's degree program in Digital Marketing and/or Web Design or similar

○      If currently enrolled, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2019, December 2019, or Spring 2020

●      Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position 

Preferred Qualifications:

●      Strong working knowledge of Squarespace and WordPress

●      Strong working knowledge of email marketing platforms (ConstantContact, MailChimp, Robly)

●      Strong understanding of SEO keyword strategy

●      Ability to write headlines, subheadlines and page descriptions utilizing SEO keyword strategies

●      Basic HTML and CSS skills

●      Eye for design aesthetic and understanding of design principles (familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software a plus) 

Requirements:

●      Strong attention to detail and ability to proof and edit work

●      Ability to work quickly on multiple projects with shifting priorities

●      Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and re-prioritize

●      Strong written and verbal communications skills

●      Self-motivated and team player attitude and takes assignments readily

●      Motivates self with little prodding; offers unsolicited suggestions and ideas

●      Capable of taking a step back and looking at the big picture to make sure project goals and deliverables are best serving client needs

●      In addition to software and applications outlined in preferred qualifications, is proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and the Google Drive equivalents
